You're clearly a writer, as in serious about it, Taressa. This was, as I am sure you're very aware, for those many Medium writers who struggle mightily to come up with topics. Which is, I'm afraid, why Medium has descended into that Ponzi scheme hell of articles about how to make money on Medium. Fellow Medium writer Linda Carrol did a piece just recently about not penning articles to other Medium writers about how to be successful simply because a single article gets you "Top Writer" status. In my book that's like getting a gold star in kindergarten for letting another kid play with your toy. Notable but not Nobel Prize. Neither am I. However, in that hopeless quest to see more genuinely good writing on Medium, I periodically do something like this. This used to be such an oasis, but now my feed is so full of headlines with execrable grammatical mistakes that I choke on my coffee. Not that I don't make typos, hell, sure I do. But when folks are surrounded by material but can't find anything to write about except how to make money on Medium? That's sad. And, it's life. Not everyone is meant to be a writer, in that sense that being a writer is like having a pit bull bite your bottom and never let go.
