While this is of course along a very different vein, Shannon, one of the best lines out of the terrific movie 42 is when Dodgers owner Rickey barks at a fellow owner about refusing to play ball against Jackie Robinson, that one day he’s going to meet God. And when God asks him why he wouldn’t take the ballfield, saying that it’s because Robinson was a Negro MIGHT NOT BE A SUFFICIENT ANSWER.

I might posit that the very same thing stands here. For those who say they believe in God, twisting information that turns people into murderers by proxy, ANY excuse is likely to NOT BE A SUFFICIENT ANSWER.

But that’s just me.

Frankly I’d like to see religion die in America. It has morphed into a sickness that knows no bounds. Faith is something else again. Religion? It’s become a cancer and a magnet for magnates who are nothing more than parasites on the ignorant.
