While I opted out of kids, what you describe happened to Boomers too, and I suspect Gen X as well. Any senior level woman who left to raise kids came back to a seriously clipped job opportunity, much reduced salary and open hostility at times. Nothing has changed. And yes, Linked In was always like this.
