Which speaks in part to the lemming-like need for the perfect guru, which, as you so rightly point out, backfires for most of us. I too rise at 3:30. But I have no kids, no set schedule, no family, and at 65 can create my own life. I hardly find that reasonable for most people I know. All of us have to find what works for us individually based on our skills, situation, preferences, the demands of life, our finances…but that’s real work. How much easier it is to point at some mugwump who doesn’t live with our limitations and state flatly that if we just did THAT, well of course we’ll all be rich and successful.
