Two responses: there are NO photos of ANY older women doing what I do on Unsplash, or Deposit photos, or anywhere. Nowhere, anywhere, not one single one. If there were I use them. if I had photos of myself doing them I would use them. The world doesn't see nor does it acknowledge badass older women. I haven't yet gotten a photographer here in Eugene, I just moved and we've been under quarantine.

Second, a) she IS Black, and b) because the Western mind does not automatically make assumptions especially when I mention the PhD and black belt in the same sentence. I am underscoring Black excellence. Most would not consider the possibility that she might be Black. I make sure it's made very clear. She doesn't have an issue with it at all.
