Two of the things I respect most about you Shannon are your pure dedication, and your genuine commitment to help other writers. While you and I can’t do a thing about people who want the money without the blood, sweat and tears, we can keep offering value. You’re on the path. So am I. And even this late in the game I would hardly call myself really good- hoping to be someday, but not there by any stretch. There’s a big difference between those who write about their earnings for the sake of a bragfest, and those who do their best to talk about them as a way to make a point and be inspiring. You’re the latter, and it makes a big difference. I love your work and appreciate what you do.
There is no rush (only for me if I get to see naked dancing men, get OUT of my way). That’s the whole point. The climb is like going up Kilimanjaro: Pole pole, or slow slow. We learn in inches, not miles. All of us. And the older I get the more I appreciate the inches (especially if they don’t land on my hips).
