At the heart of your comment about obesity and diabetes is a passel of lies that he strips back and exposes. His work is thorough, intense, well-researched. We have been sold so many lies about obesity, diabetes etc. and what he shows us changes the entire conversation. It's not that it isn't a huge problem. Its' who created it, who's getting blamed, and how Big Food et al uses all the fine tactics of Big Tobacco to get us ALL to blame the invidividual for choosing to get fat and get sick. Lies and lies and lies and lies. the books are remarkable. Hard to read. But when you see the interconnectedness of who benefits from our misery you can't un-see it.
