True, Steven but keep this in mind: not everyone has AC even these days. There are far too many folks who are vulnerable in so very many ways. l grew up poor in Central Florida and we didn't have a fan, either. While I totally agree with you, sometimes the choice is either lousy security or not roasting to death- a shitty choice indeed, but for some, and I've been in some of those places, it really is that bad.
