Toffy, in this context, the only use for the word "only" is a get out of jail free card. That is all it means. And for someone who believes in owning your shit, that is what being a shitheel looks like. I have spent a fair bit of time in Thailand, even to the point of learning a chunk of language (much of it forgotten but I can impress my friends once in a while). I never met kinder more polite people onto whom tourists heap ugly abuse. But we "only"wanted an extra towel?

Pardon me but how the hell hard is it to learn how to say thank you in Thai? To put your hands together in prayer and acknowledge the other person's value and humanity for that is how it's done in Thailand?What the hell do I know?
