To this I would point to one of my favorite writers, MarleyK, who spends a considerable amount of time emphasizing that "convenient" for Whites isn't convenient, and never was, for Black folks. Convenient, which is a White Supremacist way of making sure change NEVER comes, is code for never. Black equality, Black rights will never be "convenient," because White society has to move the fuck over, make room and share their toys. White society loves to steal and appropriate, and when folks want what is theirs back (land, words, beaches, civil rights, dignity, I could go on) White society claims it never belonged to Black folks in the first place, so it would be "inconvenient" to give it back or gasp, share it. But that's just me.
