To my Dear Readers

An apology. Gah.

My computer keyboard has three keys which refuse to work, which means I can’t write articles until either a local IT person can fix them, or more likely, I may be stuck unable to publish full articles until I get home. I will certainly try, but in the meantime, I beg your forbearance. I am in Central Kenya, access to tech help is limited, and phones lose their charge. I have a Volt system but there is no internet much of the time.

In its own way this is a superb lesson. I am buying small notebooks and will need to return to old fashioned field methods.

The photo in this story are mine from last night. We tracked two female lions to their kill. Pretty nasty smell. But you don’t get to see this every day.

Unless I get good news about my Chromebook, I will be limited in how pretty my articles are. However, this is what happens. We are seeking an external keyboard.

Meanwhile as best I can I will keep you informed.
