This is really well put. I have read far too many articles attacking White folks who are late to the party. While yes I completely get the resentment around WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN, the point is, folks are here NOW. Shame is not the solution. I see precisely the same thing leveled at older men new to understanding rape culture. We do not get allies by beating the holy shit out of them. We educate. Include. Have patience.
