This is a terrible truth: when allyship is profitable, it will happen, that is the horror of the system. Until it makes people money, it is a nice to have, not a must have. that it is the right thing to do takes a back seat to profitability. I may be wrong, but that's how I see it. AND where there are highly profitable Black wealth centers as in Greenwood, that flies in the face of the dominant narrative, and people do not like being made wrong, particularly when religion is one of the weapons used to back them up. Again,that's just me.
