There are several ways to think about this, all of which are valuable to consider. I'll touch on a couple. First, not all people of every generation were guilty of destruction. Second, there have been plenty of Baby Boomers who worked damned hard in the environmental areas, and still do, some among my friends. Third, all humans of all time have a part in both destruction as well as plenty of attempts to stop said destruction. No single generation owns in all totality the problems we see, and I fear every generation, driven by inspired hope, works hard until they realize the enormity of the challenge. Then it's well, as long as I have mine. Not all of us, and not for all time. Plenty of good dedicated folks working on this. But greed is one hell of a motivator, and the highly motivated seem to be the ones most intent on destruction for personal gain.
