The speaking industry suffers from the same problems. People who originated a lot of that material (some long dead now) often see others plagiarize it as their own. Whaddya do? I’ve written my own books, and there’s no question people rip me off. Bottom line for me is that if some one is waiting for Mom to call him up to dinner and he’s 42 years old, I seriously doubt he’s particularly “successful.” But I guess if he can rip off a lot of truly gullible folks…
