The problem I see here is that it’s very hard to argue with a one time fatty (my hand is up) that their addiction to exercise (my hand is up) is not a good thing. That’s a bitter pill to swallow, to realize you might wanna back off, when as you point out, Markham, the idea of doing so is terrorizing. One less minute on the treadmill OH MY GOD. I’ll gain a third of an ounce and will be a TOTAL FAILURE. Extreme behavior is a product of absolute thinking. That is an addiction, whether we cop to it or not.
