The journey, which most people won't take, is that we must find what works for us individually. For example, keto works for Dr. Y and not for me, and grains work for many and not for me, and so on. I can't load up on much of anything but quinoa. Honestly, SK, if we would stop looking for the magic pill, do the sleuth work, experiment and see what happens, all of which take commitment, my guess is that we'd all be better off. Of course it's hard work. So is life. When we're too lazy to take care of ourselves we get what we've got. I totally agree about the fiber, however, but I get mine through fruits and veggies. And they work. But not for us all.
