Thanks Michelle, that’s very kind of you. As a pharmacist you see first hand the benefits AND the side effects. And yes, so much of what we are seeing is lifestyle disease. That’s the pain of it. Nature exists as a place to heal and we are losing Her fast, as well as all her creatures. We are going to be sad indeed as a species when we finally realize that the one thing that gives us the most succor- a healthy Earth and all her creatures- has been scavenged and ruined by our abuses just when we need Her the most.
When treat ourselves with respect, we treat Nature with regard. This is what health looks like- that interconnectedness with our surroundings. When our surroundings are nothing but concrete and asphalt, we aren’t being “fed.” No wonder we’re ill. Silk trees don’t cut it, and they don’t produce oxygen. But then I’m not a developer, who sees condos where I see wilderness. Real health truly is holistic, and that comes from within.
