Thanks. I have a very very very nice insert in my great room. I love the thing now that I finally learned how to get it going properly. The open fireplace is downstairs and I don’t use it. What I love about the insert is that I can use it on no-burn days. I installed a ceiling fan (that was a doozy; it’s 17 feet up) and it does a terrific job of circulating the warm air.

I also got a few house humidifiers to keep an eye on the water content. I’ve been surprised at how dry it’s been around here, but that’s climate change for ya.
