The terminology has been around a very long time and has a basis, although I disagree with it, in physiology. I stand by my choice of words for a reason: too many folks still assume that if a woman does a pushup, it's the "girl version." That's why I use the qualifier. Modified is the more recent version of "girl's," and while the language may have evolved, how people hear the term hasn't for many. I appreciate the comment, and to your words, language matters, \I wrote a triple prize winning book on that very topic called WordFood.
