Thank you my dear. You can tell I heard it one too many times. Like Ann Litts, I realized that the best way to say it out loud and to a larger community was right here. I suspect I’ll get trolled, but what the hey. At least I spoke for all those who like me had to start from fat to get fit. If you get what you have without working for it you don’t value it. That’s why I am damned glad my brother was the true athlete in the family- a multi-talented gazelle, immensely smart, and he squandered every bit of it and then committed suicide five years ago. No. I prefer having to work my butt off for what I have. Not only do I value what I have, but I absolutely positively applaud every single ounce that my brothers and sisters out there drop in their efforts to get fit. Bravo to us all, no matter how big, tall,short, small, old, young, no matter what color, culture, whatever. Whatever we have, we’ve earned. I don’t want easy. I want a challenge. Otherwise then I have nothing to offer anyone dealing with a challenge. Thanks for the smile today.
