So very true Katie. The sad thing is that we could make similar arguments about the unique pressures that men feel to BE MEN, that people of color feel to BE INVISIBLE, that any one group of any one kind feels from society to be something other than what or who we are. While in this piece I focus on women, what saddens me is that this kind of judgment wears a great many faces. I would think that we all feel it in one way or another.
