Rick, while I get that, I’ve been using that phrase for decades, long before it was co-opted by candidates.

While you might find it annoying, we might recognize that few candidates are original, and given that there are nearly eight billion of us, a good many of us have been saying many of those same things long before they got popularized. I have never heard Warren speak, so I can’t address her choice of verbage.

Not all of us are mindless copycats, and simply pick up phrases to “sound like” or be like. Your annoyance is legit, but in this case the phrase is very much my own. Thanks for your comments.
