Note: Get a sense of humor. Just find one. You can’t even begin to understand how important this is. Black humor is the sign of both emotional maturity and resilience. This isn’t making fun of pain. It’s a choice to laugh in the face of the worst. Big difference.
Exercise idea that I am using and LOVE: kitchen timer next to my computer. Every 20 minutes the alarm means GET UP AND DO SOMETHING. Pullups, yoga stretches, run my stairs, pushups, doesn’t matter. It’s gotten fun. You don’t get to hit snooze. Do the work. It will energize, focus, clear your head. I got this off Outside Online. And it works.
