While I may be a Baby Boomer and less likely to be tethered to a device simply by virtue of the fact that I didn’t grow up with one, to your point one of the most important statements of our time — in any country- is to disengage. The promise of connectedness and community online is a lie. It happens primarily when we put our devices down and invest in each other. Social media is a tool, not the end all be all.
