Not sure what your point is Melodie. Kindly point out the specific choice of words or phrases which are “shaming.” Kindly quote the specific passages that are “fear mongering.” Kindly, specifically identify where there is “nagging.”
If this article doesn’t apply to or appeal to you, then kindly MOVE. ON. If you take affront at what is neither stated nor implied anywhere in this article, then I might posit that this has a lot more to do with an inside voice. Nothing from my side. If you are unhappy with your life or your body, that has nothing to do with me or anything I have written. I write for people who want the best out of life. Who will never give up. Who understand that quality of life begins and ends with thoughtful health practices. If you don’t, Melodie, that is absolutely your choice. I suspect there are plenty of other topics on Medium that are much more appealing.
You have every right to interpret an article as you wish. You don’t have the right to put words like shaming, nagging and fear mongering into my article, none of which are there. Not a single bit of that exists. If the topic doesn’t work, I’m not the writer for you. Please kindly read others’ works that do not cause such bile to rise, that you would write such an unnecessarily unpleasant comment. That is not gracious discourse, which is the standard for this medium.
I wish you well, and happy reading elsewhere on Medium.com.
