Not her job to hijack someone else's conversation. This to me sounds like classic White Savior, White Justice Warrior behavior. I've been slapped with it too. I am weary of being told what I should think and feel by people who don't live in my skin suit. If you feel X, then there is a legitimate reason for it. Period. Hearing you out is an act of respect. Policing your tone is act of patriarchy.
