No Brenda, not at all. If you are new, you are likely right where you belong. You are in the right publication, with the right editor, who like me is struggling with these changes. I stay on because of Dr. Y. but those of us who have built our writing into a paying business have to consider what’s happened with recent changes. Illumination rocks. It really does. And it has engendered significant envy because Dr Mehmet Yildiz really did build a shining city on the hill. A few of my professional friends stay on for him, but as established writers it makes sense for us to seek other outlets. I wouldn’t if I were you, because Illumination, for now at least, is the perfect place for those just starting out. I wouldn’t speak for you, but if I were in your shoes, I’d keep them by Illumination’s front door.
