My place here in Lakewood was hammered. Good thing I didn’t leave the awning out but it sure did crisp all the new leaves on the bushes out front. Still, I walked the yard, and while there are some buds that clearly weren’t happy about their welcoming freeze, all will survive. If I can keep the damned deer from eating all my irises.
