My heartfel thanks, Aravind. I've been rather frustrated with Medium this year, as all of us have suffered badly with their tweaks. However I continue to enjoy stories and comments from all over the world. For my part it tends to support and bolster what I get from the BBC, which at least acknowledges the existence of countries outside America. As a result I have my ear attuned to uprisings in Ethiopia right now, for example, and can hear what thoughtful, well-educated people in the world have to say. I wish all of us were paid fairly. But we are an America-centric people, and we believe all things start and end with us, as Ajit implies. That said, not all of us feel this way, and that's good news.
