My favorite of all time: Falstaff and the young Henry IV Part I:
Henry to Falstaff: Thou clay-brained guts, thou knotty-pated fool, thou whoreson obscene greasy tallow-catch!
You sanguine coward, you bed-presser , you horseback-breaker, you huge hill of flesh!
Falstaff to the young King: You starveling, you eel-skin, you dried neat’s tongue, you bull’s pizzle, you stock fish — oh, for breath to utter what is like thee! you tailor’s-yard, you sheath, you bow-case, you vile standing tuck!
I might offer this is a whole hell of a lot more entertaining than fuck you…..
I have a whole book of them: Shakespeare’s Insults: Educating Your Wit, by Wayne F. Hill and Cynthia J. Ottchen
To the classics!
