this was extremely well written, and not at all a surprise. As someone who has lived in the Denver area for nearly fifty years, I was well aware of the Naropa Institute. That has also come under terrible fire for the same reasons.

I do practice yoga, sort of- but I refuse to seek out any kind of guru. Now at 67 I am long past any kind of likely susceptibility , although I am still subject to attempted assaults(it never stops), I am sick unto death of one institution after another, yet another charismatic male leader abusing his power. Don’t get me started.

Men+Power+Trust+a complicit community. Religion, Education, Politics, name your institution.
