Is this quote from Stephen King’s Pet Sematary the Millennial Mantra?
While it is ever so tempting for each generation to believe that they invented sex (far be it that the proof of one’s existence argues otherwise) or that the doom and gloom of today’s generation outweighs all those before it, I beg to differ.
This morning, as with most mornings, I woke up around 3 am, despite having gone to a Halloween party last night and bedding down by nine. As I often do I scanned a few Medium stories. Since I don’t follow many people, my smorgasbord is broad, which is intentional. That allows a lovely variety to cross my path. This morning it was quite the gift. This weekend we celebrate goblins and monsters, and the movie Pet Sematary is sitting next to my DVD player awaiting its turn.
