It makes sense, as the drying process shrinks the fruit, making it far more compressed but with the same sugar content. We eat more, and that means more sugar. And, depending, lotsa dried fruits have added sugar, like my old fave, dried pineapple. Sigh. If you do a few scans online you'll get a good idea. I used to make the same mistake. Now I really have to limit. My oatmeal has blueberries, honey and banana. OH . And butter. OH. And cream. :-)
