Kristine, I am in no way offended. I would offer this: sometimes I go back and remove it, sometimes I don't. It's my voice, and I'm ex military. I recognize that it's not for everyone, and some people find it offensive. For those articles that I specifically point at a particular audience you won't find those words in there at all. For others, I use them as punctuation. I get your point. I am not everyone's writer, and I am well aware that others likely get more readership. I appreciate your frankness and honesty. The only time someone's comments on my language were offensive were when they were delivering by an Old White Man in a way that sounded preachy, fatherly and condescending. I probably don't need to tell you my two-word response, along with the proviso that you're not my daddy, my preacher or my priest. Don't like my stuff, don't read my stuff. Your comment is different and it's offered with respect and kindness and I absolutely take it that way. I may well shift over time. I hear you, and I respect your point of view. Thanks for reading my material. And I don't watch TV at all, so no I didn't see the show. I can tell you that for my part my use of any kind of crude language has nothing to do with trying to reel in a particular constituency. Nothing about being hip. It's how my mind works.
