Judy, here's what to consider. First, I wrote my first book at 58, which went on to win three prizes (okay THAT was a shocker). At sixty I started my adventure travel career. What I have learned is that once we step over that invisible line in the sand to ask the inutterably hard but marvelous questions about what we want to do and be next, the sky tends to open up. On the other hand, one reason I bang the drum so very hard about fitness is that too many folks retire with money but no body agency in the bank. I want people to have both. BTW you and a friend from Boise are both at different points in your retirement careers; the latter is thinking about moving here and she is the one I sent lengthy emails to. She also is grappling with "what's next?" That is one hell of a great topic for me to tackle with input from readers, and hard questions we all have to answer. You identify precisely why I want this community: real people asking real questions about real life issues so many of us are facing, and more than a few of us have pretty damned good ideas to share and discuss. So if you care to join us, what I suggest is to make a list of your Big Questions, and as we move forward and I get my feet in the ground with this endeavor, your questons fit perfectly with precisely the kind of value I hope to bring.
