Jan, I agree completely. I have also suffered depression, and while this is not an indictment of Ms. Daum, when I am in that rabbit hole I turn to my journal. I don't air my dirty laundry in that regard, for it depresses people. That isn't a gift. Sometimes a little restraint, which I need as much as anyone else, is called for. I don't come to Medium to feel like death. I want inspiration, suggestions, answers and ideas. Her right to write as she likes, but she lost some readers.
