I've got seven more years in the gym than you do. It's remarkable, ain't it, the bullshit people buy? These days, at 68, 9% body fat. 125 and just under 5'9", I am still uber vascular but that has everything to do with a disciplined diet, consistent work and no fad ANYTHING EVER. No protein shakes, no supplements, no nuthin. EVER. And the first thing I do when I get to the gym is hit the floor to do 100 to 120 men's pushups, no rests, no stops. That's work. That's practice. And that's functional. My muscles have to work in the business I'm in, or I can die. As it is they have gotten me through brutally serious injuries. Lotta top bodybuilders die before forty. Healthy? Bullshit. Nice skin, nice muscles, trashed organs. And stupid. I'm with you.
