If I may underscore this. Losing the weight is surprisingly easy. That's what's so damned disappointing. People do not get it that the Insta photo on the Weight DAY isn't permanent. I am among the 1% who have done it. Lost 85 lbs 34 years ago. I have serious agency on this matter. It's effing hard damn work. Weight loss is nothing, NOTHING compared to a lifetime of discipline, changes due to age or pregnancy or disease or everything else. While I get it that this article was about the loss part, that's barely five percent of it. The other 95% is the complete and utter commitment to do it for life.
