I wish I could say I don’t relate, but I sure as hell do. I have several diagnoses, and I am juggling and struggling to figure out my next move. Because as you well know, it’s not just eating right in my own house. I travel extensively, and that means a whole other ball of wax overseas. I used to be able to pack nut butters and prep-packed gorp and the like. Not now. I’m currently researching. People honestly do not understand, nor do they have the patience or compassion for, the very real issues presented by food-induced health problems.

As for the unmentionables, I live my life in workout gear. So, Lycra. Thank god that moves with me.

I was told that the stent would cause pain. That was helpful but. The stent came out the day after I was released, and that is precisely why I had the car accident. The stent was supposed to allow the stones to safely leave my body. Well, shit.

But that’s all right. I seem to do fine with rice, and that at least for now is filling. Best of luck with your issues and I am sorry you lost your husband. Rough year for so many of us.
