I was listening, with no small amount of smug satisfaction, to a story about the Whitefish, MT white supremacy groups continued failures to dig deeper roots in that area. As more liberal and moderate thinkers move to the otherwise lovely part of America that harbors so much hate, more and more groups rise to fight the tide of viciousness that has led to attacks on peaceful Jewish communities. Peaceful people. The pushback that we see- and unfortunately, these aren’t just old guys, they are just hateful white guys- are terrified of having to share the sandbox.

Well, Ajah, they have shat all over that sandbox to the point where not only is it a teeming mess, but even they can’t go find an island or a mountain retreat where microplastics won’t rain down on them. Their precious jumbo shrimp is full of microplastics. They can’t escape global warming.

It is remarkable to me, and I won’t be alive to see it, but what this is all forcing is the rise of the female. That includes those men who are gifted with both wisdom and compassion, and who in no way buy into the bullshit. We are in the Age of Denial and Resistance, which is precisely what predicates massive change.

While it’s painful to watch, and painful to experience, it’s also a part of what, if we are going to survive as a species, has to happen. Some of our values in this culture do vastly more damage than good (if you point at consumption in particular).

So yeah. It’s a bitch to be old and white and male. It’s a bitch to be white and male. But kindly don’t come crying to the women and minorities and all the different-gendered folk that you have long controlled, abused and dismissed when it’s your turn in the minority barrel, boys.
