I used to care about being mentioned until I realized that people really were being lazy, to your point, and I finally just responded with a thanks and don't bother to read any more. If I mention someone it's probably one or two tagged articles in mine, and I often pull out a quote to underscore why the piece is worth reading. But that's work, I guess. Thanks.
