I totally agree here, particularly when advising certain moves like military presses which aren’t very functional and can trash a shoulder joint. My pt told me to never do them again. What I did in the meantime for my impingement us workarounds. I hired a trainer with a strong PTbackground and he gave me all kinds of shoulder work that didn’t hurt. That as you know is so body specific to your dynamics, strength and goals. You know what you are doing, clearly, so I am not sure I can offer much except to make fun of an aging body. I am writing you this from my orthopedic surgeon’s office-bwahahaha- where we are discussing that very thing!
