I recommend you actually read the article to understand it, Mrs. C. I do not care about the Oscars or the slap. That is NOT the point of the article. You are welcome to your opinion about both, but if you don't understand my point, then your opinion doesn't hold much sway. My point is about hijacking other's articles, which is horrible Medium manners, and doing precisely what the author is asking her not to. That doesn't have anything to do with Will Smith. It's a completely different point.
