I laughed out loud at this. Being a Boomer and never having had the gall or stupidity to offer anyone financial advice (just look at my savings account...wait, I don't have one, I emptied it for men, which is a statement about my empty noggin). I find generational advice offensive when it comes to thing like this, including dating advice from women my own fucking age, Shani. These women, who last dated in 1962, have so much to tell me about how to meet a man, a world that they haven't had a painted toe in for nearly sixty years but they know SO much about dating these days....yah gah. So when I sold my house I slapped half the fucking proceeds where I can't touch it and I have to operate like it doesn't exist. To your point.
