I know nothing of Mindy Kaling but her name. But thankfully your writing made that unnecessary. Difficult to read, but very well done, thoughtful and engaging. These issues are so fraught, and it is damned hard to tease out anything sober in the rat's nest that is racism/White supremacy/colorism, all of it.
