I have arthritis in my knees and running is VERY good for them. The old saw that it makes your knees worse is hogwash. I have arthritis in my thumbs, I got shots, my thumbs are fine now. I have arthritis in my hips, I keep exercising and moving and pushing. Shoulders, same thing. I am in about thirty seconds about to hit my hotel floor to see if I can punch out my 100 men’s pushups, or close. Arthritis is a fact of life with the kind of abuse I have visited on my body. And it is manageable. The more I move the less I hurt.
