I had the same travel experience returning from Africa. And like you can I can’t get a thermometer for at least a month or more. At least there’s TP.

I get the terror, Kay. Wish I had something to offer. I just listened to a young Italian man, on lockdown in Colca Canyon, Peru, tell us that he’d lost two family members. There really are no words so I won’t try.

All I can offer is that the more anxious you are the more susceptible you are, which you already know. If you are a woman of faith, then I would spend time in that space. Whatever calms you, whatever gives you strength, whatever you count on at times like this.

If your faith is your rock, then become the rock. I know it’s hard. People I love are sick too. But I can do nothing. Being terrorized does nothing other than to make my body weaker. At 67 I can’t afford that either.

Your community is here for you for what it’s worth.
