I find it so fascinating, Malinda, that others, anyone, would still, in 2020 or thereabouts, have the outright BALLS to tell any woman what she should do with her own body.
That any jackass would tell you or me or anyone else that choosing NOT to have kids in a grossly overpopulated world is “selfish.

In 2011, I was spending a month in Thailand. That extended trip was the beginning of a return to what I do and love best (and am kinda in limbo about right now as we all are): epic adventure traveler. I’ve likely not have been able to do this for a great many reasons had I had offspring, although I don’t really know that. Still, what I do know, is that our intuitive knowledge speaks very directly to what the body and heart know. Kids were NOT for me. No question. I actually knew that at three years old. I wanted horses, not dolls.

I can only speak for myself here, but every time I climb onto a horse, an elephant, a camel, a donkey, whatever to do what I do in the world, and then spend endless hours massaging them later, all I know is that I am deeply grateful I followed my gut.

No apologies. No excuses. No whining. Just…NO.
