I do not care how many times I hear this; my FAVORITE line from George Carlin is when he is discussing phrases Americans use but have no clue where they originate. One is "he got his walking papers." He explains he got fired a lot. But no walking papers. Guy would come around to his desk and yell GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!!!!! Every time I hear that I nearly drop a weight on my foot.
